Default Tree falls on 271

We've been living from storm to storm on the E. Coast. Lots of problems with trees.

My 271 was a fantastic boat. I really don't know what to say. She was a beauty.

Default tree

My family had a 303 that the storage building coplased on about 10 years ago, smashed widshield, torn cusions, serious glass damage on the deck, un fortunatly it wasn't enough for the insurance company to total the boat. Though the repair work was great and we ran the boat for another 2 years always had glass from the broken windshield appear after every ride. I feel for you good luck

Insurance companies always try to get out of it. Liability is on the neighbor's homeowners. My carrier will collect from them.

It will be interesting to see how they value the asset.

well sorry to hear, that really sucks

couple ways to handle it are,
see if you can buy it back might be worth it, part it out, windshield motor, drive, bolsters if it has them etc etc, I want dibs for giving you the idea, or you may find a ride that needs power,

option 2
take the insurance money and buy my 271

242LS - 426 hour hull, 270 hr 415 hp Gen V Mercury Racing 502 MPI, 1.50 Bravo 1, 23 pitch. I'm waiting on the Insurance adjuster before I touch anything. I fired it up on the hose Friday, then winterized. The storm happened on Saturday PM, and I didn't notice it until this morning. I'm staying away from it until the pros get here to remove the tree.
If I get fair value, I'm off to find twins for next year. I really don't want to mess with the corpse, but if the price is right, maybe.
How much for your 271? its a beaute.
