Yes. Reversion was a common problem in 500 HPs.
Still haven't decided what I want to do (or not do) with mine. It's spending the winter at XT getting some new goodies.
I went down your same path shopping for my 342. Looked at 353s and Powerquest 340s. I didn't like how the windshield wasn't walk thu. Didn't want to drag around anything bigger than 34-35'. Lack of parts and support concerned me with PQ. There are enough Bajas out there to still find stuff.
For me at the time I thought the 342 was the biggest bang for the buck. I couldn't get near a PQ or Formula for what I paid for mine. Looks like you're seeing the same thing looking at black-helm, broken motor boats

My first Formula,, I think I have my wife talked into moving up real soon.. This one is in the shop getting all new uphostery to match the paint..
