scott 72 ,just bought boat in march moter was rebuilt, but it was junk. I should have new engine in this weekend. this has not been a good start this season.

Sorry to hear about that. I know the feeling. Last summer my 211 Liberator was in a rack storage fire (boat under me had some sort of electrical fire). Completely totaled and of course I didn't have the boat insured for as much as it was worth (learned a lesson there). Picked up a 1989 223LS with a shot 330 in it (ran but had a nasty rod knock). What started as just rebuilding a 365 HP mag motor I picked up for $100 has turned into a 470 HP money pit. Amazing how I didn't take in account all the little things. Hoses, belts, bolts, custom rigging stuff. Oh well... Good part is I finished the rigging today and should fire it up this week...
