Anyone on here boat around or in the Hampstead/Topsail Island area of North Carolina?

Have family getting married down in that area this Labor Day. 1 of 3 weddings on the schedule for this summer. I'm trying to guage whether its worth me trailering my boat down or not. Would like to know what the boating atmosphere is like down there? Places to go, things to do, etc.?

Any insight is appreciated?

I'll take the 40+ views with no responses as no one knows. Which if it was a popular spot, someone would probably know something. Posted it in the GD section as well with no luck.

I got family down there, but they have a flat bottom Carolina Skiff, which gives me the indication that there are a lot of shallows and shoals. Guess I'll have to talk with them more.
