242LS...I think you know you have a strong back-up just in case...and I'll step up as No. 3 if all else fails.

I remember when they came out with that Imron paint option...that was very "Double Trick" in the '80's

Hey Twin...it's even got a "Florida" aluminum bunk trailer under it!!

Great looking boat...what the power?
It runs the 470's inline 4cyl 170hp each. So no race boat but come this summer at $600 a tank of gas it will be much better than V8's.

Sounds good. You have a good eye - she actually came up north from Florida! (I actually was in school down there when this boat was born. Just dreaming back then at the Miami Show. I picked her up in 2009)

I would have bought that boat. Great find for it's next owner.

Just found this ad for a 23' w/twins.

The way those motors sip fuel you might get a whole season from 1 tankful. Two of those little motors are like having a single big block in that boat....they produce mucho torque.

Way cool pieces that were unfortunately ahead of their time. When I was selling boats in 89/90 we had a similar size Sun Runner w/twins. They were 205 HP's each which I think was their max??

As I recall, a Merc cast aluminum block w/a Ford 460 head (!) and a stator off an O/B in place of an alternator.
Many of them still around but most retrofitted to a traditional alternator.
