Default Need wiring diagram for 86 - 272

Just asking if anyone has one that has been scanned and can be emailed. otherwise I will call the factory and request one.

Anyone know who to call or what number for information on old formulas?

I have the mercury service manual that shows the drives and trim pump, more looking for the basic hull wiring like switches and gauges.

I called the factory and talked to someone in the parts department, I believe his name is Scott, about a diagram. He ended up emailing me a PDF file of all the wires and where they go in the entire boat from bow to stern. I think I still have it, I can email it to you if you'd like.

Scott just sent me a 3 page pdf for the 272 LS wiring diagram, that will help a bunch!

What a nice company, real person answers the phone and transfers you to the correct department where another real person answers the phone. Gotta hand it to them...

Scott was great when I first purchased a used FASTech, he not only sent wire diagram, but the whole owners manual via pdf. Now they have manuals online at their website. Great company and customer service. Many here could go on all day about how great they have been.

As good as they are...I wish they had the depth of documentation for the older boats like Sea Ray does.
