I know I've read somewhere on here about pulling a pin to be able to lower the drive more to help the boat get on plane. I've tried searching but with no luck. Does anybody have any photos or links that show how to do this? This boat needs all the help it can get planing with any more than 2 people on board. Are there any negative effects from doing this? Thanks in advance.

I guess it was flipping a spacer that I was referring to, I did find a little information using the search function. Any more info from someone who has done this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I did it on my 292. You pull the pin out of the trim rams at the rear of the drive and there is a spacer in there that in stock postion is behind the pin. Put it in front of the pin and it will allow the rams to pull the drive in a little more for getting on plane.
you will need to adjust your trim sensors after wards as well so they sort of match up with the gauge.
