waterboy,
in response to your intial post, my 91' 292 was one of several made that year with the NA 502's, 415 horse and B1's. I purchased the boat with 700 hrs, and over two seasons put another 200 hrs on her. With that said, she would knock the door of 70 anytime, with 2 persons, half fuel and normal gear, even with the hours noted. Great running boat for its size, in any conditions here on the Chesapeake Bay.
Good luck.

I made an offer. Waiting to hear back today. He hadn't heard from the seller yet. I made an offer on the boat and the lift so we'll see what happens.
Also, does anyone know what a 292 with 502's will weigh? Trying to figure out a trailer/lift.

Formula lists the 91' 292 at 7400 lbs, from their brochure.

Guys...70 MPH in a boat is haulin' a$$!!
We're talking about the speeds that the Bahama's 500 winners like Odell Lewis were running 35~40 years ago.
A 30' Formula with overnight accommodations, without a whole crap-load of picky High Performance equipment that has to be phucked with daily and can run all phucking day at 55~60 MPH is a very nice piece of equipment.!!
Waterboy...good luck in snagging this one...then go out and enjoy it.
