That radar arch would have to go. "TRS Racing Drives"...really?

Good base for a project but ....WOW that's a lot of work!!

Yeah, bottom paint included. I have one of those now, wow! Not fun. So that means it sat in salt water also, deal breaker there, plan on replacing damn near everything metal in the back. Ask me how I know.....

Something tells me that you have had a "Total Immersion" introduction to metallurgical engineering and the effects of a saline electrolyte as a catalyst to ferrous/non-ferrous metallic oxidation.

Brian...I had a Sea Ray 40' EC that I kept in the water here for two years and I can tell you first hand...it was like dropping an Alka Seltzer in a glass of water and finding ways to prevent it from dissolving.

It was great being able to walk to the boat, get in and go at any time but did I pay a big price for it!! It cost about $3K a year to pull it out, renew the bottom paint, sandblast the struts, shafts, rudders and service the props.

Trailer boats need to be kept on trailers or lifts out of the water. I hear you on 'deal breaker".

Another one sold, looks like $8,000 on winning bid. Hopefully it gets saved.

Opps, relisted. Guess $8k didn't win it or the buyer backed out, not sure. Really, they are expecting that much for it w/o trailer?
