Default Porta Potti 292

So I've never actually hooked up my crapper.....but the wife is sick of peeing in a bucket....so I guess I have to do it!

Anyway..... the porta potti on my 292 is all hooked up to the pump out etc. My question is..... once the bottom of the porta potty is "full".....how do you get it out of there into the "holding tank"????? Is there a seperate "holding tank" etc etc.????

Any info would be greatly appreciated on such an EXCITING topic!!!!!!!

If she's tired of peeing in a bucket, hand her a cup!

Mine has a connection on the starboard rear of boat, it looks like the water tank fill but smaller. Never use it mine never fills up in a season and I just disconnect it and empty at end of year, that way I can totally clean it and winterize. You just need to fill it with water and then put the chemical in the bottom of it.

We have the exact same setup Tim. So you never empty the bottom of the actual porta potty all season......am I correct? Thus, there isn't a "seperate" holding tank on the 292????

we just took ours apart to clean it...this is how i know

there is no seperate holding tank aside from the bottom of the toilet. think it holds about 1.5-2 gallons. to empty it, you can either take it out, dump it and clean it...or you can hook up to the pump out on the swim platform which is on the starboard side.

i would recommend taking it out to dump it and clean it...as it starts to smell after a while. the pump out doesnt get everything.

Yes, the tank is in the porta potty, would never want to use the hoses to pump it out as some would always stay in the hose. It lasts all season but I probably don't use it as much as you will. Its not hard to take out just separate the porta potty bottom is the tank then loosen the clamps on the two hoses and work them off.Mine has never smelled but I do add the chemical to the tank.
