Default Bimini storage for 336 SR1?

Ours lays on the sun pad right now, but I'd like it out of the way but still on the boat. I've eye-balled measurements and it doesn't look like it fits in the engine compartment unless I put it diagonally and it would probably lay on an engine (not the best idea).

What does everyone else do?

Mine fits in there nicely, I do have to go in at an angle though.

Thanks for the visual!
So you go in at the angle and straighten it out once it's in?

basically i put it in with the legs facing towards the back of the boat, over the outboard exhaust manifold, then swing the legs so they are facing down and strap it to the firewall. Piece of cake!
