A dealer gave me a 2009 book if any one needs data from that year.

Anyone know what year the factory started publicizing this data?

Coolest freaking set up for a sbc boat. Imagine that insurance sees it as a performance cruiser and it was still faster than most stock 27-29 fountains of the same vintage!!! I think that year was still a square windshield too, it had a cockpit like a fishing boat. You could put yourself a buddy and 6 girls on one without any problems

Think the perf 'birds from that era that weren't were the 206 (narrower) and the 357. Think the 357 is something like 8.5 ft

OK, this strikes me as odd. The 311 sheet and the 303 sheet are both Sr1's and both have twin 454 mags bravo's (365hp).

The 311 is 3" narrower but 150 lbs heavier and 2' 9" longer with the swim platform.

I would have thought the 303 would have gotten better "milage", but the numbers posted by formula do not show that. Best for the 311 is 2.1 mpg at 28 mph at 2500 rpm. The 303 was only 1.7 mpg.

The 311 was faster and more fuel efficient than a boat almost 3' shorter? Did they just screw that boat up?

Grab the report that shows the data for the 303 with blackhawks. I think that will really surprise you. The 303 has a LOT of rocker in the hull so when it comes to shorter/surface piercing drives with the stock motors you should see a bit of improvement. Come to think of it anyone have anything on the the 302 402 kaama reports or the 303 blackhawk data?

You nailed it, from what ive learned over the years is the 303 with 502/hawks is a 80 mph boat, I got the 502's just not the hawks, 1.36 bravo's and my best so far is 76,

Exhaust , -2 inch shorties and some xr gears and I think you would have a solid runner at around 80mph. Besides someone has to be the guinea pig :D

I just picked up an 86 F302 SR1. Getting all dialed in at Wilkes Marine in Orange County, CA. Can't wait to get it out on the water. Any performance info on the 302? Stock 454, TRS and 3 blade 24 pitch that I will probably change to 4 blade.
