Starting to feel like Gino, about a mile from the ramp other engine starts getting hot. Shut it down make sure nothing is blocking the drive and then head back on one engine.

Get home pull seawater pump and have a bunch of blades gone. Change it with the wear plate then spend five hours removing every hose and flushing every hose. Ran it for 15 minutes on the hose seems fine. Try this again tomorrow.

Weird though that impeller was changed in the spring.

That is weird. Where did you get the impeller? I've changed mine a couple times over the years and they have always been intact. I buy MerCruiser impellers through BAM.

I got them from one of my customers,I sell tools so I stop at a few marinas they were in the bag but when I got home noticed the were six years old (the manufacture date is on the bag). The little voice in my head told me not to use them, but I did because they felt ok. Both sides are new now.

Ran it about 70 miles today, ran fine no overheating so I guess I got all the pieces.

First picture is of the head, small hole by valve guide.
Second is of impeller.
