i Recently have purchased a 1990 311 formula with the silent thunder.
The story goes that i was driving around saw this boat sitting in the front yard, didnt look like it moved in a while, stopped and asked him what the deal was. he said he blew a motor, removed both motors, the drives. took down the blown motor and there was no saving it. he bought two brand new re man quick silver 454 mag mpi's
He said the boat on the trailer with everything, including the motors, even the third one that he had in it before. Both drives, a bunch of parts from the other 454(blown). i picked it up for 10 grand.
Now i need to get the back seat and sun pad fixed, any suggestions from anyone ? im in cicero ny area, cheapest way to do it ?? please let me know.. thanks

Great deal, are there amish near you? take it to them, otherwise find a local upholstery shop, my advise is put it back to org in case you ever wanna resell, most want it the way it was, if your gonna keep her then if you wanted you could modify it

I have completely restored a 419 Fastec and have owned a 1990 292 SRI and a 1986 357 Kamma. You can call Formula and they will send you cadd files for all of the seat backing. Make out of the air expanded pvc board and the seats will last forever. You can also order the factory skins for the sun pad and seats from Formula. If you go through a local trim shop, Formula will discount the package. You can then staple and assemble yourself for a factory fresh look. The seat skins for the bolters should be available from McCloud Design Group, but I'm not sure if they are still in business. The 311 is an excellent model and they never go out of style. I also like them best when they are restored to factory conditions. Good Luck
