Pretty sure there is money being made or was made on this boat. If it is one of the two that I am thinking of that had similar paint they could have been had either a owner or two ago in the 40s. Not sure if it was the 292 that came out of my area from Aqua-mania or the one that was out in the midwest area

For what its worth I am curious about where the market is going to go on these boats. I am really thinking the 292 is going to go a similar path of the 271 from a demand perspective. There is going to be a sweet spot of time where there will be no used 292s available because Formula just wasn't making any and yet there will be used ones that are just old enough to still get financing and it was the smallest Formula you could get. May drive the price or hold it up a little bit on the 2007-2010 boats I don't have a crystal ball but will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Ok guys so i am not trying to high jack this thread but I have been watching it and every ones comments on boat listings that are being posted and I am curious as to what everyone's opinions are as to what mine is worth.
Boat is a 2002 292 fastec with world champion graphics.
I bought this boat when it was barely 2 years old and have religiously changed all oil and drive fluids every 25 hrs. Every spring, this boat gets new impellers, plugs, cap and rotors, fuel filters, etc. It also gets waxed twice a year and was just buffed from one end to another top to bottom by local and very reputable detailer.
Twin 350 mags and I will bring boat home tonight to plug scanner in and verify actual ECM hours as I know the gauges are off and show approx 12 more hours than ECM's which puts them at approx 730 hours.
Bravo one drives with halo drive showers, standard trim tabs, bravo one 28P 4 blade props.
1200 watt stereo with 12" sub in cockpit and 6 speakers, Ipod hook up.
Cockpit carpet, cockpit cover and full mooring cover from Carrie covers. ( full cover is the heavier canvas style from them not the light poker run one)
Standard porta potti with pump out at rear
transom shower and all of Formulas standard features.
Boat sits on a brand new 2012 triple axle All American aluminum trailer with aluminum wheels, good year tires, torsion axles, brakerite electric over hydraulic brakes, matching spare complete with packed hub and E axle kit.
Here are some pics and as I said, I will be bring it home from the covered storage yard where it stays during the week and doing the fluid and filter changes tomorrow and will verify ECM hours.
On a scale of 1-10, everyone that sees our boat says its a solid 8. Yes it has a couple minor scratches from dock rash but from a 5' distance you cannot even see them. They are just deep enough not to be buffed out but yet cannot see from a few feet away.
We also just replaced all the head rest foam in the sun pad with factory original pieces from Formula.
We looked into trading this in last year but the deal with the boat we were looking at fell through which is why we did not go through with it.
We are moving on to another boat and I would rather sell ours than trade it in to try and get a little more money in my pocket as any one would do.
I am thinking I would like to get around 45-49K based on what I have seen for sale out there and some of your comments but I will consider reasonable offers as well.
Right now the high trade # we just recieved again is at 39K.
I would like honest opinions on this as we are moving on one way or the other and since some of you are in the market for a 292, I might as well throw mine in the mix.
Here are some pics and I can get more if needed which I need to take more of the trailer since i only have the one of it on the new trailer and that was before it was redone to fit the boat properly.
Let me know

Just to give you some info on the value of your boat. I bought my 2002 292 in 2010 for less then $49k. I have the 6.2s, hyd steering, and a 2006 aluminum triple axle trailer, and it had only 105 hours. I would consider my boat a 9 out of 10. No gel or paint damage, interior is perfect, full cover, and meticulously maintained.
I think $39k is a fair price for the hours, 350s, and no hyd steering. Just my humble opinion.
