Anyone have old old Vangarurd Gauges that work and you can see through them? Having hard time seeing through mine (a few), replaced with many differnet LEDS and reg bulbs, even spoke to VDO...Id rather keep stock than upgrade dash. Need water temp and one psi to start off with if anyone has laying around if they upgraded their dash. My other gauges seems to fine. Ocean line gauges would work too...
Appreciated.

Im currently looking for the two water temps, the lights work but they aren't transparent anymore and i cant see them at nite, VDO couldn't explain why. Also, one PSI gauge does the same thing, the other one is a newer version, Ocean Line ..but both Ocean Line and Vangard are discontinued. The Volts work great, again Ocean Line. THe RPM's/MPH work okl if Really dark...Can you check in dark light if the work well? pm me price.
Thanks for looking. mike

Mine is same way, the gauge back lighting is all ****ty.
My temp gauge wasn't working on the port side when I got it, and it turned out that the pinouts on the main harness connection at the motors was the culprit, these pinouts are horrible design and I had to hard wire my starboard side together because the connector pinouts were just falling out. the port was the same but I was able to get it back together.

Can you clarify on the pinouts? How to diagnose this issue? and fix it, if possible?
My gauge works but runs at 10, which obvioulsy cant be the case.. checked connections behind the gauge and ground, no found issues.
