I have a newer 382 with Corsa pressure activated exhaust that make loud knocking noises at idle. I am told the knocking noise is normal. Has anyone else had this issue?

It is always open. I don't have captain's call on this boat. I have a video of the noise it makes, but am unable to post it on here. It is so loud my passengers always ask me what that noise is. At first I thought there was something wrong with the engies internally.

I had a Corsa making a knocking sound at idle and very low RPM's but mine is Captains call and could only here it when it was on silent. Sounded just like a lower end knock. I tracked the noise down and then to be 100% sure I swapped that to the other engine and the noise followed that exhaust flap to the other engine so that was the culprit. Hope that is the problem you are having.

Do you got a video of it? just post it to youtube then post link. mine is more of a rattle then a knocking. Loudest at around 700-800 RPM then gone at 1000.
I'm all winterized already otherwise i'd take a quick video of mine.

One of your baffles is loose, take the exhaust hose off from the transom and make sure its tight. On mine the welds had broken and I just pulled it out. Not sure if the silent choice has them but when looking in the tips if they are like pinwheels its a possibility.
