I have a 353 with a lenco hatch lift. It is like new but the little electric motor is burnt out on it. I tried rebuilding the motor but its junk I grind down the cap welds and got it open but the brushes are to gone. The brushes are also impossible to match up or get. It looks like an aftermarket motor. It almost looks like the size of an RC electric motor. Lenco wont sell me the motor, they will only sell the whole set up. Does anyone know where I can get a new motor??

How about a local electric outlet or shop. I went to an electric supplier and got brushes and motor parts for an electric wheel chair for a friend of mine. The builder wanted unrealistic prices for the whole thing and would not sell pieces parts but a good electrical business can either make it or will get it.
Good luck.
Good luck.

I'm guessing you're talking about the actuator motor for the sun deck, mine the motor is working fine, but the actuator (ram) is grinding like crazy, it sounds terrible.
I took the whole thing off which is a bear and had a motor re-building company look at mine and he said my motor was OK, that the ram gears were going out and I'm finding out the we might have to buy the whole set-up which is going to be big bucks.
I can't find the actuator (ram) seperate either.
Any ideas.

I have a ram gear set that is messed up too. I just discovered it and haven't looked for parts yet so if you find out parts info please post it up. I have about three projects and vacation traveling before I can get to the research but if I find something before you do I'll put it up here too.
