Headed to LOTO this weekend. It's supposed to be chilly but hell just as well put the boat on the water while I'm there!! Gotta drop the boat off for upholstery re redo from thier first attempt!!!! It's amazing how bad some people can screw up thier professional work!!

We wil be down again the week following the 4th of July and for the shoot out and labor day weekend . That's my 50th birthday weekend! Wow never wrote that down before!! Lol

One good thing about hitting 50 is your kids are old enough to take care of driving the boat and you don't have to worry about water patrol or worse

Had a great weekend down at LOTO weather was pretty cool but hey I got to put the boat on the water finally!!!!
We had her wide open once. No wind and about 58 degrees just a slight ripple on the water 93 octane fuel and just a little less than half a tank of fuel. Props are still Quicksilver 23p SS 3 blade cleavers. We hit 63mph on gps at 4300 rpm!! I think that's about all she is gonna do unless we make a run sometime with less fuel on board!!
70mph would be fun some day!! But I'm happy with her for now!!
We got a couple of really good pictures I'll try to get posted!! And dropped her of to get the vinyl fixed again!!! I sure hope it's right this time!!!

Well I picked up my boat after the second attempt of redoing the upholstery and if it would have been done like this the first time I wouldn't have been excited about it but it's just a very average job!!! And I'm still out almost $400 for gas on return trips to have it fixed!!! They said this didn't happen regularly!!! I told them it shouldn't ever happen!!! They didn't really seem to care!!! This was at Straight line canvas at LOTO!!! Now they have changed thier name to Lake Plus Canvas!! Be careful using this establishment for something you want to be proud of!!!

Installed new Hummingbird 597HD Combo with gps maping!!!! Wow is that nice at night to help you find your way home!!!!!! And great for getting accurate speeds !!

Also broke out a starboard vent window on the winshield if anyone can be any help with a replacement piece of glass for that I would apprieciate it!!!!!

That's about it for updates for this year!! Except I was thinking about putting a wired remote back by the swim platform but that would be it!!! Lol

Well I thought I was done with projects for the year !!! Lol but I installed a transom shower on the old girl to wash off the muddy water of the Missouri river when your done swimming!! And I tinted the windows!!! That's it I'm done for sure now!! Getting ready to head to LOTO July 5th for a week!! I can't wait!!!

Day 2 at LOTO was a little rough lost our anchor and rope,broke a trim tab line and got stopped by water patrol bow light had gon out!!!
Water patrol was really nice guy!!!
New anchor and line purchased and replaced both trim tab lines!!!
Back to the fun 3 more days left!!!
