fuel tank removal

I need to remove the fuel tank from a 1979 Freedom Cruiser. Anyone have experience doing this? I really don't want to cut the deck out but don't see another way/. Help!

I am not a cruiser guy but their is typically either a hatch over the tank or you have to cut the floor.
