Way overpriced in my opinion. Could be in a newer larger boat for the same or less

An 88 24' boat...you could buy 3 of them for his asking price and never miss a day on the water because you had backup boats.....

looks clean being a complete restoration. I took a look at the other options some of you posted and relize i can get more boat.. but i cant afford gas on a twin. im looking for somehing under 26 ft so i can fit it in my garage. ive been watching the classifieds, and every 242 i have seen is selling for 9- 18k. i talked to him on the phone and he said he has over 24k in receipts. he also said hes negotiable. my dad had a 242 and said they are one of the best older hulls you can buy.

The paint is odd like the front was painted to hide something. Also if motors are rebuild why paint them once assembled on the pallet. weird way of doing things that would concern me enough to keep looking.
