Default 312 is finally home

I brought home my (new to me) 312 Fastech yesterday, and wow is that a big boat compared to the 242 LS I was running around around Lake Erie in. I'm picking up the re upholstered hatch and back seat today from XT in Bucyrus. Man am I excited to get out on the water!!!!

The one question I have, the throttle has a cable from trim that runs up to the thumb control. Is there a boot or someway to keep this cable from getting bumped or ripped of while running?

Is the wire loose? Sounds like it is an aftermarket one? Try using wire ties to hold it against the handle.

Matt,

You should know better than to post a teaser w/o photos. Motorlid is new and bolster colors will be next to change.

I think all Fastech boats have the trim in the throttle....and the wires should be in some sort of metal or plastic tube?
