Hello,
Does anyone know where I can get the old formula switches to match my 1985 242? Anyone parting out and have one or is there a site??

for posting pictures, go to this thread. Page 7, post 66 explains how to use photobucket to post pictures. Really easy actually.

Switches, not sure what you have. Do they look like this?

This one fit the cutouts perfectly on my 86 - 272 dash.

If its the rocker type shown on the ebay site above they are readily available, I even went to my local hardware store with about 10 feet aisle space worth of marine stuff and they had one, I had one blank on my panel and it snapped right in. Just not as faded as the other ones.

I think the Ebay are not the actual ones, but close enough for what I want to do.

Those are the same as mine ('86). The one I picked up at the store didn't have an indicator light.

Do you mean the Ebay ones you listed? I dont care much about the indicator light, but more looks. Rather have it look the same so that everything looks stock.
