If you can afford it (gas and boat price) go with at least a 272 or more. But if you dont need twin motors and have the cash for the 272, 242ls does have larger bow, but I think its only by a foot. Nothing crazy. My buddy 223 SS vs my 242LS is a HUGE difference, By 223ls to 242ls is almost the same.

yea he even called me back and offered it at 13k. could prolly get down to 11.5k. reasonable a day late and a dollar short i picked up a pontoon boat and a cpl skis. im guna party barge it. but for someone looking might be able to get a decent boat out of it. from talking to him seemed like he really needed the cash. this day and age dont we all though.

i saw that on another forum. nice boat. im not a fan of the ls though. they have no deck space. the ss was what i was looking at because my dad had one and took the back to back seat and made a quick way to secure and unsecure the seat so it could be moved behind the capt chair and back seat. made a whole side available for fishing with plenty of space. that way u had the space and the seating for friends when you wanted it. was a preaty sweet set up. wish that i had the $ for a fast 80+ mph boat.. but for what i was looking to really do theres no need for me to get there fast. im just looking to have a good time with friends on the water. i wont be wasting any gas with my 150 ouboard lol
