I sold my baja 240 sport last fall and bought a SR-311 the baffels are not cut out in the platform is there any feedback from the formula guys out there does it sound better with or without, my baja had a 550 stroker motor with corsa tips and you could hardly hear your self think let alone listen to the radio. So I don't want it to be anoying loud
Thanks

I cut out the baffles and then installed the round screw in plastic inspection ports on the bottom. That way I could have it slightly loud exiting the square exhaust tips and then If I wanted it louder, unscrew the inspection ports on the bottom of the silent thunder and it is louder yet. Also, had a 419 and remove the silent thunder altogether. With CMI exhaust, it was pretty loud, but never too loud.

XFT..do you have any pics of your platform after you cut the holes and installed the inspection covers..I was thinking of doing the same for a cleaner look and the option of putting them back in for the next guy down the road if/when I ever sell her..but to me..Mo louda mo betta!

easy to install just traced and cut out w jig saw silicone around and its a clean look, works great, sounds a lot better just place 3 acrost back under where the exhaust comes through the hull I think it took like 30 min to install very simple
