Default 91 242ls 502

Hey guys- a good friend of mine has a 91 242LS with a 502/Bravo 1. The boat has been sitting in heated storage for over ten years. A couple of years ago he had everything gone through in anticipation of some use- however it never happened. I am going to go get the boat, clean it up and sell it for him, my question is what is this thing worth? I forgot to mention he is the original owner and it has less than 100 hours on the boat, 9.9 on a ten scale. Thanks in advance-

Scott

very interesting, tough call as its sat so much might scare people but a good boat is hard to find, if its truly immaculant I'd say 17-19k if the right buyer is looking, being in the northwest your kinda secluded and im not sure how that would affect your market either positive or negatively, does it have bolsters?

Yes it does. It has every option on it available in '91. Also good colors red/gray/black. Thanks for responding.

I have seen a few in the upper teens lately. Needless to say they are still for sale. That being said, I just got a super clean 89 with the 502/bravo for 13k.

I was going to say $13 -14K . . . Anything more is just not going to happen. those boats tend to sell well in areas known for choppy waters. So, if you are in that sort of market, then it should be OK.

Keep in mind that the LS Model has a more cramped cockpit than the SS model. So, it appeals to a smaller market (IMHO).

You're going to sell it right around in the 11-14K range if it's running and ready to go. If it's been sitting 10yrs and the owner doesn't want to put the time and effort in for it too be purring like it should, beautifully clean, etc, plan to be in single digits.
