I'd hate to say how many times I have left one ore the other of the shifters in gear!!!! It ruins your day for a split second when you turn the keys!!!! Lmao

If you are ever in a real jam and the thing wont turn over because the shifter detent is broken or the selenoid is burned out, you can take a screwdriver across the large two lugs on the selenoid to bypass it. I was out a number of years ago and used a quarter to get a guys boat up and running that way.

Shifter jiggle and lanyard are always my 1st two go-to's. Learned both the hard way.
