One of the projects we are working on on our 382 is updating the dash. I bought a Garmin 740s to replace the old worn out 172C. I also hate the look of the smartcraft gauges and want to re do them with Livorsi Monster gauges (4 5/8" and 2 1/16"). I think with the blue panel white face with blue numbers would look good with either blue or white back lighting. I found a GPS picture on google images and photoshopped the numbers to blue and just resized it (approximately, not 100% to scale but I also drew it up in autocad) so ignore the fact that this has 10 GPS speedometers but you get the idea. Let me know your thoughts and please anyone post pictures of any upgrades you all have done to your 382's. For reference, here is a before picture as well.

Wish I had flush mounted the GPS.

Looks nice but not sure how well you will be able to see the blue at night ...?
Re-did mine a few years ago before the carbon fiber was readily available. Gauges on the R lower are fuel pressure:

With the GPS, you may find the speedo unnecessary. I ditched mine 8 years ago. Gives you more room for other gauges. Or a bigger chartplotter...
