Default looking for 2003 382!

I just sold my 2001 382, loved the boat, but it had the wrong drives. I can place an order if a dealer is interested in dealing. Ideal boat would not have air or gen. Boxes, ss wind, bimini a plus.

The wrong drives is buying a 2001 model and finding you have 1999 engines and the old HP 1999 Bravos and not X's or XZ's, which is what you want on an 11000+ pound boat in the ocean, where a drive failure means a 5 hour trip home in the dark!!!

John, what motors did you have in your 01 382?

If they were 500's, are you saying that the 500's with HP Bravo1 drives are a no/no with the 382?

Did you have numerous failures or just the one?

I've got a 1999 382 with 500 EFI's and regular ol' Bravo 1's.
300 hours, zero motor or drive problems.
Never hard out of the hole, but don't baby it either. Sometimes even pretend it's a 41 Apache with 1000SC's And #6's when it gets churned up!
I'm absolutely THRILLED with the reliability compared to any other boat I've had.
