302 on ebay

Not mine but looked like a decent project depending on price you get it for.

What's a kaama racing engine? What sort of manifolds are those? What's the big box on the back of the boat?

The valve covers are only Kaama covers the engines were never built by them. The manifolds also had Kaama stamped on them I can't remember who actually made them but they were only 3 inch. As far as the box I don't know what your talking about

I know the boat, transome is rotted out, stringers are questionable and it was sunk a few times, engine size am told by the mechanic that maintained it (prior to the current owner) is 420 hp

the boots on the KAAMA's have slight dry rot (can use as is), the drives are standard KAAMA's

The back of the boat is the standard as the 79 thru 85 formula (nothing different) which I think is the box that was referenced above

The fiberglass shines well and you can tell its been rack stored its while life

The cabin is in nice shape (below the bow) don't remember seeing (looked nice) any tears ir stains, carpet is clean and nice also

I tried getting it, but you know how it goes, the price was more than it was worth to me at the time (Last summer)

Vinal on the seats is getting hard , almost ready to crack

great project if you are prepared to re-transom it and put the drive lines back on ...would be cool when done,,,

Thats the scoop on it

I have 2 sets plus all other parts for those engines. If someone is interested let me know.

Sunk more than once! I can only imagine the electrical issues on an 80s boat.

You're telling me this big 4" standoff box on almost the entire transom, with out the paint scheme, is on all 302s? Really?
