Are there any known issues with the 2002 models? For example any rot issues or construction methods that have been improved, such as transom material?
Just thought I would throw it out there as I'm not extremely knowledgeable about the evolution of these models over the years.
Thanks
Mike

Only real changes on the 382 in 02 were very minor. Different cleats, passenger dash was a little bit different, and I'm probably missing some minor details. The fastech transom is wood, but the rest of the stringer system is composite.

I'm looking at a 353 with 496 MAG HO's. What I'm more curious about is what RT930turbo mentioned like the transom being wood and not composite (Which makes no sense) any other issues like this, like know moisture or rot issues.
