Default 252 SS vs 260ss boat cover

I'm looking for a boat cover for my 2000 260 SS. None of the sights I looked at had covers them but said the cover for the 260 BR would be perfect. Somewhere on this Forum 500hps said the hulls of the 252 & 260 were the same. There is a $200.00 difference between Sunbrella boat covers for 260's and 252's. I'm told the 252 cover won't fit but that sounds suspicious. Anyone know anything more?.

Formulas website shows the OAL of a 26- is a foot longer than the 252 so it's probably the swim platform or something on the deck. Bald mike has pretty good prices on canvas and claimed to have owned a 260. He says the cover for an 05 BR will fit so ordered one. I'll let you know how it fits
