Hello All -
I own a 04' 37 Formula SS and this past weekend when extracting the back bimini I noticed the white plastic track on both sides of the arch corners had a horizontal crack extending a few inches. Believe it's due to the bimini's resting position when rolled up. Anyway when locking into place my starboard side popped out about 2 inches and across 6 inches round the corner section. After talking with Formula this afternoon I wanted to get your thoughts/experience on my options. The service rep mentioned it required heat to bend around the arch and will wrinkle with another flash of heat to bring it back to a smooth transition. He didn't have an idea on how much it required other than a heat gun... for those of you that have experience replacing, how extensive of a job was it and how hot did you get the track? Also looking for other options you might have used to fix this problem.
Thank you,
Adam

Sail track is pretty easy to bend, a heat gun works well. When I first started working at Tiara Yachts that was my job. I worked in heat bending and bent all the canvas track, rubrail, seat frames, etc. Any questions, feel free and ask. Nick
