Default New Formula Owner, need some items

Just purchased a 1999 400 ss. I'll post pics when she is delivered on Monday. My wife and I just moved back to Ohio end of last summer and wanted to get another boat. Our previous was a Baja 302, so obviously the 400 is a whole lot more boat. Most people had great things to say about the ride and quality, so i'm really excited to take it out. The only 400 I've ever been on was the new one in Miami this year with Ilmor's. That was an awesome ride.

So now to the issues. There was no top at all, including poles. I found a complete camper top, but now I need a set of poles. I found a company that will make them from a Formula template, but figured I'd ask here first.

Try this guy, great resource at Formula, if you have the hull id# he may be able to look up the parts for you and assist you going forward.

Artie, we will keep the boat on the Maumee River in Toledo. Several trips to PIB and Catawba Island with a few to Cedar Point as well. The first trip to the Bay will probably be over 4th of July weekend.

Great! Hopefully we will see you on the water. We just had our first child 2 weeks ago, so we have been boating at Buckeye Lake (close to home). If you see us up at the islands, say hello. We are in a 382 named 'Parrot Head'

The boat came from Florida, actually was just delivered today. Twin 502's. We'll drive past Pier 75 on our way out to the lake. At the bay we'll stay on B Dock, look forward to meeting everybody . Same for us, the boat has a black stripe and a blue camper canvas.

Question, what size engine hatch actuator is needed for this boat? I need to buy a new one and I'm not sure. I will also give Formula a call in the morning.

Motion systems out of New Jersey makes the acctuator used in the 400. Scott Smith or Nick from Formula can give the part number. Motion will also rebuild your present accuator, replace bearings seals etc and the motor. 734-222-1800 is their number.
