Was supposed to get boat back on tuesday but there was one more problem when the water pump stopped pumping. So new pump was ordered from Belgium and my summer is finished. The winter is coming here in Finland.

Never put the boat back to lake after the service. Now it's already raining in Finland and snow is melting away so spring seems to be coming, :-)

I started to wonder what kind of running hours you generally get with stock 496 mag ho before you need engine repair. Mine is now 500h and no problems but is there some kind of averange number when you generally know you should open the engine?

Or do you just drive until something gets broken?

This summer has been awful here in Finland. Only 7 hours has the motor been running. There was weird noice that seemed to come from silent thunder. After few hours it stopped. Engine sound seems to be same than before but is there something that could come loose and is now in the bottom of the lake?

Also a question of the trimtab buttons. My dashboard is same as here: http://www.powerboatlistings.com/pow.../5205/formula7[1].jpg

There are trim buttons on top of the panel where are the gas and transmission handles. One of them got broken - can you still buy them somewhere? I have not been using the two separate ones lower in the dashboard and took a sparepart from there. BTW what are those separate ones supposed to do? Other is for drive trim but I use the switch in the gashandle. The lower one has a text "trailer" but I have never used it?
