Anybody know this 1987 242ss red
Looking for any history on my 1987 242 ss, red/white color scheme
here is what i know.
Accoirding to formula originally delivered to long beach, ca july 1987. It is is sitting on trail-rite galvinized tandem axle trailer with ca plates dated june 1995.
Ended up in oklahoma where it was sold to a guy living in dallas and kept the boat in lake in oklahoma then trailer to dallas and stored in airplane hanger.
Boat has been used in salt by corrosion evidence (did i say i hate sandpaper). Engine was rebuilt at about 600 hrs from what i have been told. Somewhere along the line somebody resprayed clear (clearcoat i believe) as it is pealing awayon the deck and probally also repainted red on sides and swim platform.outdrive, alpha, has had work done to it, bellows u-joints, etc.
I bought it this march from dallas purchaser (@ airplane hanger). He says he does not know any history.
