k, I talked to this guy today. It looks like its got a brand new Merc Bravo 1 drive on it right from the dealer. 30hrs on the drive. It looks like he may have had an air lock from the oil resevior to the outdrive and it blew the oil all over the inside of the engine bay. That sucks... Can't see him getting that smell out... Then he had some knuckle that blew and is between the outdrive and the Motor and the motor had to be pulled to fix it. I don't think he knows exactly, but the dealer fixed it as well or a dealer. Seems like a bit of bad luck.... Just looked like a real nice boat when I started to look at it, but now I am little sketchie of it...

Yes... I think that was it. Seems a little weird when the boat has less then 300 hrs on it. But it is a nice boat. He is going to send me some more pics of the motor and bilge. I also have the place of the name that changed out the outdrive and its the same place that changed out the coupler.
