Yes, you can mount the stock thunder bolt ignition to it. It was all raw polished aluminum, I would polish it with aluminum polish. Never had a problem with oxidation I boat in fresh water.

This is what I'm working with now clean stock stuff. Plan to add some nice valve covers over the winter.

I clicked on your pic -- is that the boat ramp in Fox Lake Illinois??? If not it really looks similar to it -- very close to Gordy's-- oh yea -- very nice pics of engines. I don't know how to post pics - but would love to share. I have been accused of being too clean!!

That would be the same boat, took that picture at Ben Watts after putting the boat on the new trailer. I use photobucket to host pics since I'm not a paying member.
