Cool old Formula I have never seen one on here with the 425 horse Kaama motors ,
You sure it is a SR1 I thought that with that designation that model had a very low cut windshied but maybe it was the Kaama package
From what I heard back in the day was Innovation out Sarasota was the main builders of the 425 Kaama motor
Yours are all original with the Valve covers and the Gill Exhaust with the Kaama plaques attached to them.
I did not rebuild the engines on the one I worked on but the guy that did said they had really good parts in them I remember Ed Pink rods being mentioned when he tore them down
Back in 1987 I totally rebuilt a 20 hour 302 SR1 Kaama motor and drive Formula that was a 1985 that had spent the night on the beach in 8 foot breakers . What a mess.
Cool clean boat To bad it is wet.
It seems like the majority of the boats you see getting parted out here these days seems to be the Formulas even some rather newer ones have gone to the dump.
Sad to see so many mostly nice but WET boats get parted but so goes economics.

Yeah it is pretty clean. All 302 were SR-1s after 1983 or so. This one is a KAAMA but I think they are still referred to by SR-1 Kaama. Very few had the low windshield.
Exact boat as on the cover adn page 16 + 17.

So I assume the hull is worth only $1000 bucks or so?
