Default 353 Windshield color

Anyone have any pics of a window frame powder coated a color on a 353? Thinking of painting mine white or red?? I'm thinking a color might look better than just grey or silver.

Yes mine is to...one of the reasons why I'm powder coating them. I'm just thinking a color other than grey/silver would look pretty good. I would like to see a pic of one before I do it

Just google 353 Fastech, you'll get plenty of photos.

The factory did not powder coat them .. It was a cheap silver paint . I sand blasted mine and had it powder coated .. It's a lot of work removing all the glass and rubbers in the channel . If you do it mark every piece of rubber so it goes back in same place .. I would not do it again

The "factory" if your thinking Formula itself does not manufacture or paint the frames, Taylor does.

Any color other than a classy grey/silver (metallic) will look trailer park on your formula period.

The silver on my windshield rails are starting to show age, the surface coating material is very thin. I was thinking of powder coating the whole thing or getting really crazy with it and polishing it. Formula was up charging $4,000 from the factory for the polished back in the day.

your windshield is painted aluminum ..the 4000 windshield from formula is all polished stainless ..it looks nice but tuff to keep clean .and you will never lean on it in the sun
