I am on the Choptank River on the Eastern Shore and head out to the bay frequently up to the Kent Island area. Wouldn't mind towing to a different spot for a meet up. Have another buddy over on the Severn with a Formula as well.

Thunder on the Narrows date has been posted!

http://www.kentnarrowsracing.com/

Anyone down for scheduling a meet up on one of those days, weather permitting? I usually leave from Denton, MD around 0800 and ride the Choptank River down to Cambridge, MD and hook around Tilghman and Poplar Islands into the Eastern Bay then up to the Narrows and hit the Jetty for breakfast around 0930. Last year we had that storm on Saturday but Sunday was beautiful. We can play it by ear. Let me know.

Sounds good to me.

That sounds like a good possibility! Have a lot of trips and poker runs planned for this year, now that we can keep up a bit better!

Brian, You can launch your boat at the Sandy Point State Park ramps adjacent to the Bay Bridge. Nice ramps, secure and plenty of parking.

I was actually thinking the ride down the Choptank River from Denton would be a fun little trip.

Sandy Point State Park is good if you don't feel like taking a long ride. There are a few ramps on Kent Island and they are usually packed. You can also launch off on the Chester or Wye Rivers. The ride from Denton is a great time, everyone thinks I am crazy doing it every year but I like to stretch the legs on Distant Thunder once in awhile, it's a fun run, a little less than 1.5 Hours at 40 MPH. The ramp is Denton is good and safe. Either way, we should all try to meet up.
