Yea my sunpad is in good shape. I will try to make some sort for quick change dealie ma bob to swap sunpoad seat to bolster depending weather i am camping mode or pleasure boating mode.
I was wondering about the storage compartment on the ss vs ls. A footprint of where the legs land on the floor will be very helpful.
Worse case seems a bracket could be made to screw into the original mounting on the seat and offset to center slightly the pedastal legs.
Mat, i'll keep you posted with photos of options and headaches.

The seat bracket will land on the storage hatch . That's a fact

GLENAMY 242SS 02-15-2015 06:41 PM

Any idea on how much?

Matjluk 02-15-2015 07:01 PM

I think about 4 inches i know it's winter but I'm almost positive and I hope I'm wrong

Gary that would be about right, but the leg only screws into the floor in about 15 minutes you can have the seat out if you need to access anything, not sure what the difference is between the LS an SS

Aqua, thank you we love it

Ok just reread one of the posts didn't realize you have access in the floor for storage. I assumed it was all gas tank like the LS.

Do you think an offset leg mount on seat will be strong enough for proper support? That would allow storage to open.
Thank you for your knowledgable assistance.

I am not sure where your storage compartment is, but if you offset your leg you may not be able to lower your seat. Looks like your going to have to get creative.

Gary from a very old thread but you get the idea my guess is that you should be about 22 inches from center of the steering wheel just a guess.
