I haven't started so I haven't really figured it out. I will be replacing the flappers at the transom and buying 8" long tips. I may try to order a custom tip or get it in pieces. My silent thunder platform is currently cut in half because I had some rot. It should be a little easier for me to work with. My boat currently has snow up to the rub rail so I probably won't get to it for a while.

Can you use any of this?

Gary I got a set of Hardin tips with flappers laying around they fit with the platform on 100 plus shipping . Pm me if ya want em I have 2 242's

Thanks for the offers. I have purchased mine, went with IMCO 12.5" outside boat with both internal and salsbury flaps. Bit the bullet and went new, (Thank you Eddie Young) I decided to not go with S/T concept but rater a unique look for the boat. Almost done w/project need to find somebody with a water jet to make 2 ea. S/S beauty rings so I can seal the platform-exhaust and get S/M risers to Young Performance for O2 bungs and Dry to almost tip mods.

I have the factory thru hull tips and the tips from the S/T Platform if anyone wants them. The platform is going to the dump at the end of the month.

I habe my complete silent thunder box off and not going to ever use it, came off my 419 formula would that help you at all??

I also have a set of external tips with internal flappes for sale also
