GREAT NEWS! To all trailer boaters that are coming in or thinking about making the tow. Sherman Boat Basin, which is the the marina next to Comstock with the boat ramp, has just told me they donated access to their ramp for Formula Owners that are attending BOTB. They heard about what we are doing and has helped FOONJ in our efforts. They usually charge $30 roundtrip!

Looking forward to it. Save me a seat on the 35 Chris!

OK, so the plan for Treads-N-Water is this.

Wed Aug 19th, leave Middle River and head to Cape May. Stay Wed and Thur night.
Fri Aug 21, run from Cape May to Comstock. Stay Fri, Sat and Sun nights.
Mon Aug 24, head south to Atlantic City. Stay Mon, maybe Tues night.
Wed Aug 26, Atl City to Chesapeake City. Stay Wed night.
Thur Aug 27, Ches City to Georgetown on the Sassafras. Stay Thur, Fri night.
Sat Aug 29, cruise back to Middle River.

If there is anyone from Atlantic City considering the run up Friday, we would certainly welcome cruising along, as these are waters we haven't run in, not that its a concern. For that matter, anyone running from anywhere along the way is welcome. Looking forward to this extended trip and meeting everyone along the way.

Likely staying at Canyon Club in Cape May.

Any recommendations for Altantic City marina would be helpful from anyone.

Chesapeake Inn for the overnight in the C&D.

Likely Skipjack in Georgetown, grab the shuttle to Kitty Night House for Dinner and music on the deck Friday night.

Now that is a trip!!! Looking forward to meeting all the new faces this year.

Treads! Awesome to hear that you are joining in! You have quite the vacay planned. In fact that looks like a north east boat owner's dream cruise right there.

Atlantic City only gives you one option marina wise. That is the Farley State Marina which is ran by the Golden Nugget. They have fuel, food, pretty good ship store with a little grocery section. There are options outside AC further south or north but if you are going through that area it's a nice stop to check out what AC has to offer. The Golden Nugget Casino is right across the street and Harrahs is walking distance. There are cabs always available to move you around AC if you want to go to the boardwalk or other Casinos also they have the Jitney bus but the cabs are the quickest easiest transportation.

As far as who is coming up from the AC area to the Rendezvous, I know Gadgetized which is a 34PC will be coming out of Bass River Marina which is a few minutes away from AC. I am not sure if he is running up with the family on Friday or Saturday morning early. One year he also ran up with Double Dip which is a 37PC, which I have not got a commitment from them as of yet but we still have lots of time! Shoot most boats aren't even in yet here!

You know you and Rachel are more than welcome to join Wendy and I on 'Chillin" but I agree with Brian (Splitdecision271), why not bring your new hotrod also.....This is going to be a memorable event...need more boats. Whatever you guys want to do is fine with us however. :ernaehrung004:

Nice article Matt Trulio wrote in Speed On The Water for this years BOTB. Sponsors are in place to have a special event, we need the support and attendance of Formula Owners to reach our goals!

We've sparked a lot of new interest so far with this new format and design to the BOTB. Looks as though we will be welcoming a bunch of new members to the family at the BOTB Rendezvous, but we still have plenty of room and slips for more.

So when you're making that list of destinations you want to hit with your Formula this summer, as your pulling off that tarp, fisher canvas, or cutting away the shrink wrap and starting those motors for the first time this season, we want to know if the 6th Annual Birds on the Bay Formula Rendezvous Weekend is on top of that list? If not, lets hear why? Maybe we can convince you otherwise.
