Nothing for this motor.
I was making a generic statement as I have designed and sell many 'niche' performance products.
That's all.
General public thinks if you have one part, you'll make a ton of many. That's what I thought at first but real life says nothing further from the truth.
That's why many 1 part or say even a dozen part companies , don't last long.
Cruel world - lol.
Some day my pea brain will discover something most households need. Now there's the chance for much better $$$$.
Oh well, back to getting greasy I go.

Here is how I mounted them
Out again today and I am more a solid 3mph better gps.
Remove the factory studs that hold down the throttle body.
Separate the upper and lower studs.
I tacted a 1/4 threaded rod to a 6mm union.
Make a spacer from 4 inch pvc to clear the linkage.
I made up some metal brackets that hold the pcv hose.
Put it all together.....done.

Thanks for the pics COOP.
Are the three holes in the lid of the flame arrestor spaced out slightly more than the stock unit? It looks like the threaded rod is lightly splayed out.
I'm surprised that a change like this can make that much difference. But thinking about it, I believe Mercury uses the same size flame arrestor on the 5.0, 5.7 and 6.2 liter engines. Like you said, 377 ci engine turning 5000+ rpm needs a lot to breath. Nice job!

What's the neck size of the throttle body ?
Seeing a 4" pvc fits on it, wondering if the old Carter AFS carburetor neck size of 4 7/32" is the same or near the same ? Might open door for better air cleaner spacers or etc ?
