Default Scratchy Scratchy

Has anyone with an older Formula had any luck with sanding and polishing the dark smoked acrylic pieces on the dash/cabin door and hatch or side storage sliders to remove scratches? Mine aren't terrible but I'd like them to be better.
If so, what worked for you?

I have had success cleaning up my plexi with a chemical 210 and use a foam wheel on a machine. Polish it like you would your hull and paint. Came up pretty nice.

what the heck is Chemical 210? even Google is confused. I'm curious I've got all sorts of acrylic pieces that could use some help.

This is a great tip and plan to get this done before the BOTB Rendezvous... those scratches have bothered me for years (all from previous owner I might add)

Acrylic is very easy to work with. Wet sand any scratches out. Depending on the depth of the scratch. Extreme scratches start with 600 then 800, 1000, 1200, 1500 grit. Then finish it off with light rubbing compound and a buffer. It will turn out like glass.

Thanks for the info. I found a local place here in Cleveland called House Of Plastics who gave the exact same advice with similar sanding/polishing steps. I decided to have them duplicate the side storage acrylic sliders with new acrylic at $45 a side. They also said the have the ability to exactly duplicate any part of the cabin door/hatch acrylic preices as long as the old peice is sent to them for a template.
