Brought the fourth bird home.
Made the trip to Michigan and got the 419. Since we were so close to Erie on the way home we decided to take a few days and run to Put in Bay, Kelleys island and other places on the lake. We had such a great time that we definitely have to do it all again sometime.
I need to replace the shift cable on the starboard drive. It is working now but I can feel it dragging so it needs replaced before it breaks. I have impellers coming for the generator. That is one fly in the ointment that really shocked me. My all American boat is not all American!!! This "Kohler" what I thought was an American generator has a honda engine!!!!!!!
. I thought Kohler was American but I see they do the bastardizing that many company's do using foreign power for their products. I wonder if I went Westebeke if I could get all American products?
Anyway the boat ran great and we stayed on it for three days at Put in Bay and had a blast. Docking was a breeze compared to the TRS drives I had on the 357. I can spin this big long boat on a dime with these out spin Bravos.
I'm thinking to change the black dash, paint scheme and a few other updates but one thing at a time for now and the one thing I am up for now is boating!
If my impellers come in this week I plan to hit Lanier Friday night.
