FWIW I've been looking for a boat for almost 2 mos. now the worst thing you can do is rush it. You'll wind up paying too much and/or buying someone else's junk. Get a surveyor to check the entire vessel out, then get a mechanic to go through the engines and drives. Saved my ass once already from buying a vessel that needed an engine rebuild which the buyer didn't post nor ever mention in correspondence. Could have saved me $550 so ask a million questions and get tons of pics. before investing a dime!
