Not many since around 2008. Their bread and butter is their SS line. I talked to Scott Porter at the St Louis show about 5 years ago trying to talk him into making a center console out of their 35 or 37SS hulls. I still think he should do it. Pretty sure his SS production is keeping them plenty busy.

They know where they want to go in regards to the current center console market, they have their finger on the pulse.

And that direction is? I hope they enter it. Little by little it is being seen as a family boating option versus always being seen as a fishing boat. We enjoy ours, and after 25 years of owning and maintaining IOs, not sure I would ever go back. These VRods are sweet.

Upscale, family boating versus fishing.

Be interesting to see which hull they start with, or if they design a completely new one. I figured one of the mid 30s SS hulls might be a target because it has the beam you want.

Didn't mean to hijack the thread, back to how many 353s do they produce.

Most likely single digits per year the past 5-6 years would be my guess.

I said that before also. A 353 or 382 Center console with some Seven Motors hanging off the back..... that would be about right to get their foot in that market.

My bet is the fastek hull would be a bust. Most CCs in the 30-40 foot range are 10 foot beams. 8'3" beam would be too narrow. That's why the SS hulls would be better suited for it if they decide to use an existing hull.
