Finishing Helm on the 353
So I just picked this one up in November and the Helm was about 1/2 redone.
I'm going to finish the rest this winter, thought I would throw up some progress pics. Throttles are in and as for the new Livorsi trim indicator panel... I'm going to remount it on the top of the dash panel instead.
GPS speedo, Hour meters, Aria wheel and a few other items are still Part of the plan.

We did the same thing, changed wheel, ordered all the factory chrome switches, updated all the small gauges to bigger face, and added a chrome switch for the intercom system. Looks like you put in chrome Livorsi controls, look into adding a dual button for extra control on the sticks. Not expensive to do and it is the best thing I did for control getting on plane. They also have the discs in color to match your theme.

Thanks for the pics and info. I like the Fastech logo above the trim panel and the throttle buttons with colored end plates. Is the second switch on there a both button for the tabs?
I was trying to find new white rocker covers for the switches but I guess Formula doesn't carry them anymore. The black/chrome ones look pretty good. I think I will go with them.

Dual switches on the stick = 1 for drives and 1 for tabs. The stick buttons control in/out of the drives and up/down for the tabs, works excellent, one of the best upgrades I ever did. Livorsi has the entire conversion, fits right in the stick.

It is amazing how much better things look with the steering wheel upgrade.
Has anyone figured out a similar sized GPS as the Garmin 172C but is all or mostly touch screen? Maybe a little smaller than Badmonkeys setup.

Yes but they are in pieces. They have some paint pealing off them. Did you want a certain part off them or were you looking for the whole assembly?

When you get this answered let me know because that is one of the main things I am wanting to change this winter. I also need one that will be able to power the GPS speedo I am running. The existing chartplotter gave power to my speedo.
